I/O Controllers for RACEway, RACE++ & MC/OS
VMETRO's third generation family of intelligent I/O controllers (comprising RAID/JBOD controller, I/O interface, network controller) for the RACE series of high-performance multicomputers. These products combine selected PMC modules and VMETRO’s latest PowerMIDAS PMC carriers with an efficient API-based software architecture for MC/OS to offer system integrators preprogrammed, easy-to-integrate, ready-to-run, high-performance I/O controllers for RACE++ and RACEway based systems. The latest range of I/O controllers offer a simple, user-friendly API, which integrates seamlessly into the Mercury MC/OS operating system. This innovative approach offers a dramatic reduction in the integration effort by the customer compared to other I/O solutions available. Moreover, these I/O controllers offer industry-leading I/O performance over 200 MB/s of sustained throughput. Applications for the I/O controllers family of products include radar and sonar signature capture, seismic or physical research data acquisition, telemetry, imaging and inspection systems.
